While only a few grants are available in each electorate it is important to make an Expression of Interest (EOI), as they say - you need to be in it to win it. Grants of up to $12,500 are available to fund new solar PV, solar hot water and battery systems. Solar systems can generate electricity during the day and the battery systems can store electricity to run lights, refrigeration and air conditioning systems into the evening. Community groups are encouraged to put in an EOI with their federal member before 28 March so I encourage you to fill in the form on my website and return to one of my offices as soon as possible.
